This triple-pressed grade offers superior color and a low iodine value, making it ideal for industrial applications requiring exceptional heat and color stability. It is widely used in the production of candles, plastics, oil pastels, cosmetics, and soaps. Additionally, stearic acid serves as a lubricant in injection molding, a release agent, and a softening agent in rubber. It is also used in creating glycol stearate, which imparts a pearly effect in shampoos, and zinc stearate, among other compounds. The product is insoluble in water, combustible, and non-toxic, ensuring safe and versatile usage in various formulations.
